Enjoying the fruits of my labour
I have been waiting for this day for sometime. Over the past few weeks I have been lovingly nuturing my lettuce in the hopes that I'll be able to enjoy something grown with my own brown thumbs which aren't so brown now...yipee!!!
As I plucked the largest leaves hanging over the edge of it's bucket I began to ponder how I could enjoy these succulent offerings, perhaps a simple salad, a sandwich, or on their own. So that very night I made us a delicious salad with acid free tomatoes,camberet cheese,avocado and balsamic salad dressing...mmmmm.
Over the next few days have enjoyed sum very yummy salads and you can really tell the difference, or maybe I'm just thinking that....lol.
